The new seaman's guide and coaster's companion : containing, in Part I. Complete sailing-directions for ships, both outward and homeward bound, through the river Thames and all its entrances ; the British and Bristol Channels, on both casts, including all the Harbours ; the coast of Wales ; West coast of England to Liverpool ; the South coast of Ireland ; and the islands of Scilly, Guernsey, Jersey, Aldernay, &c. Part II. Improved from the original woks of Mr. John Chandler, late of Oxford, pilot ; Mr. Murdo Downie, master in the Royal Navy ; Mr. George Eunson, of Orkney, pilot ; Mr. Murdoch M'Kenzie ; Mr. J. Diston, pilot ; and many other experienced masters and pilots. Augmented by many important observations from the surveys of Admiral Knight ; of Mr. Fotheringhame, Mr. George Morrison, Mr. T. Stokes, and other masters, of the Royal Navy. Including, likewise, all recent alterations made by order of the different corporations of Trinity-House, &c., to the present time. The fifteenth edition of the work, and the fisrt of the new arrangement.
